Corporate Social Responsibility

Social Compliance

Edwards is dedicated to provide merchandise and services with a high standard of quality and social responsibility. We are committed to operate
in accordance with labor laws and ethical standards, and require that our vendors align to this commitment. To promote that all of our
manufacturing sources operate under proper working conditions for their employees, we had adopted the following Code of Conduct.

Edwards Code of Conduct

by law in the host country.
  • Forced Labor - There shall be absolutely no use of involuntary or forced labor, whether indentured, bonded, prison or otherwise.
  • Harassment or Abuse - All employees shall be treated with respect and dignity. No employee shall be subject to physical, sexual,
psychological or verbal harassment or abuse.
  • Wages and Benefits - Vendors must recognize that wages are essential to meeting employees' basic needs. Vendors shall pay employees the
legal minimum wages as required by local law and shall provide legally mandated benefits.
  • Working Hours and Overtime - Working hours must not exceed prevailing local work hours in the country where the work is to be performed.
Overtime, should stay within the legal limits and be appropriately compensated according to legal regulation on premium pay.
  • Health and Safety - Vendors shall provide a safe and healthy working environment to prevent accidents and injury to health arising out of,
linked with or occurring in the course of work, or as a result of the operation of employer facilities.
  • Environmental Protection - Vendors shall comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations. In addition, we proactively select
and work with vendors that use higher standards than those enforced locally.
  • Other Laws - Vendors shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those pertaining to the manufacture, pricing, sale and
distribution of merchandise, as well as voluntary industry standards.

Edwards ensures that vendors meet corporate social responsibility requirements with a combination of:

External 3rd party audits where independent auditing professionals perform extensive reviews looking at all key factors (i.e., compensation, benefits, labor rights, safety) using a combination of interviews with factory and administrative staff, and review of documentation to confirm that compliance requirements are being met.

Internal staff visits and evaluations where Edwards visits the factory and confirms the conditions of the operation and the welfare of the employees. Edwards vendors operate qualified factories that are frequently certified by organizations like WRAP (World-wide Responsible Apparel Production), and other global entities with high standards of compliance and certification levels.

It is our policy to provide a safe and healthful work environment for all Edwards associates. Protecting human life from harm and property from damage

Environmental Commitment

Edwards is committed to a supply chain that is capable of providing continuity of garments while minimizing the total environmental footprint of our
products. We have begun the journey to take steps necessary to preserve our natural resources.

Community Involvement

Edwards Garment (Kazoo Inc) has been a part of the Kalamazoo community since 1867. The company and our associates work to contribute to a
stronger community. Our involvement in philanthropic groups such as United Way, American Red Cross, Goodwill Industries, Portage Firefighters and
the Great Lakes Burn Camp are just a few of the many non-profit charitable organizations we work closely with. Annually, Edwards donates garments
to shelters throughout the community. In addition our associates volunteer their time and energies to build a stronger community in the areas that
they reside.
