Who does Edwards sell to?
Edwards only sells to sales organizations, manufacturers and industrial launderers who have established credit responsibility. No sales are made directly to the ultimate user.
How do I get set up to buy Edwards garments?
Edwards sells only to uniform dealers, distributors and industrial launderers who have established credit responsibility. No sales are made direct to the ultimate user. Please complete our online Become a Distributor form to begin the process.
Where are your garments made?
All Edwards garments are made to our specifications and quality standards at different operating facilities around the world.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday - Friday from 8AM - 6PM ET for Customer Service. Shipping is available from 8AM - 9PM ET. All other departments are available 8AM - 5PM ET.
Shipping & Returns
What shippers do you use?
Our primary carrier is FedEx but we can also use other companies like UPS, U.S. Postal Service and DHL if requested.
What is the cut-off time for same-day shipping?
Blank orders received by 5:00PM EST can normally be shipped that day. If you place an order after that time, just call Customer Service at 800-253-9885 to check on whether the order can still be shipped that day.
How long will it take to deliver my order?
Standard transit times apply, based on carrier selected. Edwards primarily ships with FedEx and the ground shipping times are shown in the attached map. Expedited services are available at the customers’ request and will be charged accordingly.
What is your shipping policy?
All orders are shipped FOB Kalamazoo, Michigan. A customer bears the exclusive risk of loss or damage to the products at all times after Edwards has turned the products over to a carrier for shipment. Edwards is not responsible for delayed orders after they have left the Edwards warehouse.
Does Edwards offer free shipping?
Edwards offers a free ground shipping program on qualifying accounts and individual orders. The volume threshold is achieved through the net merchandise total, for current catalog items. This offer is valid for the contiguous United States.
What is your return policy?
DO NOT return merchandise without first calling Edwards Garment for a Return Authorization Number (RA#).
- Indicate this RA# on outside of carton.
- Place the RA inside the carton, along with the reason for the return, with a packing slip.
- Do not put any orders with returns.
- Place new order promptly for replacements.
- No returns will be accepted on discontinued products or 90 days from purchase date.
- All goods returned after 90 days are subject to a restocking fee.
- Certain items may not be returned due to changes in make, pattern or fabric.
- All garments must be returned in same condition as when shipped to you.
- Any worn garment being returned for construction or fabric failure must be cleaned prior to being returned.
- Any non-returnable item (or garments which are not Edwards) will be returned at customer's expense.

Do you do drop shipments?
Yes, we can drop ship to any commercial address. All merchandise drop-shipped to third-parties (embroiderers, screen printers etc.) must be inspected for accuracy and product flaws prior to decorating. We are not responsible for any discrepancies on orders sent to anyone other than the invoiced account.
Ordering
What form of payment do you accept?
Edwards offers Net 30 days on account. We also accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and American Express) at the time of placing your order. All Visa, MasterCard and American Express payments are considered "Cash in Advance" orders. All orders to be paid with a credit card must be placed through the website or with our Customer Service Center. Orders that are shipped as "Cash in Advance" and/or with a credit card do not qualify for a discount. Establishing an account requires completing a distributor profile/credit agreement for your state. How do I order a catalog?
You may order catalogs through our customer service department at 800.253.9885.​​​​
Can I cancel an order after it is placed?
No. In order to maintain our service levels, Edwards implemented a fully automated system. We want to exceed your expectations on turn times. In order to achieve this, once an order is placed, it is released to our distribution team and can no longer be changed or cancelled.
Can I add to or change my order?
You can add pieces under your same purchase order number, however, it will be processed separately. This package will ship and invoice independently of the original order.
Services
Can you embroider garments?
Yes, we have in-house embroidery equipment which can do work at competitive rates. You can add Embroidery to any garment by selecting an existing logo or a new logo while selecting items from the product details page on the website. You can also contact our embroidery department for additional information or a quote.
Do you make special or custom garments?
Yes, we can make special and custom garments depending on the sizes, complexity and quantity needed. Contact our DIY Department for further information.
Policies & Responsibility
What is your MAP Policy?
This policy is made to protect the integrity of the Edwards Garment product line and our distributor network. Edwards distributors may not advertise or promote Edwards products at prices discounted below the Edwards Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) Policy which is defined as discounted more than 20% on retail (MSRP) pricing advertised by Edwards. All quantity discounts must also be in accordance with the MAP policy.

The Edwards Garment MAP policy applies to, but is not limited to, advertising in all catalogs and printed materials, in-store displays, websites/webstores and all other digital media.

In the event Edwards receives information that a party is violating our MAP policy, Edwards will contact the party in non-compliance. Once Edwards has contacted the party, the pricing must be corrected within three business days. If Edwards believes that you have failed to comply with this policy, Edwards may stop selling Edwards products to you, remove benefits of doing business with Edwards or terminate the relationship. This sales policy is not a contract, nor an offer to form a contract. Edwards is not asking for and will not accept any agreement affirming your compliance with this policy. This policy simply describes the circumstances under which Edwards may in its sole discretion, choose to continue selling its products to you. Edwards reserves the right to change, amend, or discontinue this sales policy at any time, and no third party has any right to rely on the continued existence of this policy, or any act or omission by Edwards to enforce this sales policy. If an Edwards distributor with multiple physical locations and/or websites violates this MAP policy at any particular location or website, then Edwards may consider this to be a violation by all of the distributor's locations.

Where can I recycle my garments from Edwards?
Edwards suggests donating gently used garments to your local shelter, Goodwill, or clothing recycler.
Can you tell me about the Social Responsibility of Edwards Vendors?
Edwards Garment vendors are expected to operate their business in full compliance with all international laws, as well as the laws of their respective countries, and with all other applicable laws, rules and regulations. Their Social Responsibility management shall be at least confirmed by a self-assessment form which contains requirements concerning: - Management system, corporate policy - Abolition of child labor - Working Hours - Wages and benefits - Forced and compulsory labor - Elimination of discrimination - Freedom of association - Health and safety at work.
Are Edwards Garments Prop 65 compliant?
All garments produced by Edwards are Proposition 65 compliant. What is Proposition 65? - California Proposition 65, officially known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, was enacted as a ballot initiative in November 1986. The proposition protects the state's drinking water sources from being contaminated. - Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. - For more information on Proposition 65, click here.
Products
What does 'Industrial Launder' mean?
IL friendly is a product designed to withstand the large batch wash/dry/press and high temperature conditions prevalent in industrial and commercial laundries. The garment is designed to last 50 wash cycles or more. Bleach and other chemicals are generally not recommended as they decrease durability, customers should test products before using it in environments with chemicals and/or very high temperatures and decide to use the product at their own risk.
What does 'No Iron' mean?
Fabric is specially treated to prevent wrinkles and the taped seams are fused to keep the shirt crisp and wrinkle free. Wrinkle Resistant - Fabric is treated to resist wrinkles and the garment holds its shape with multiple washes.
What does 'Moisture Wick' mean?
Moisture wicking fabric draws moisture away from your skin transferring it to the outer surface keeping you cool, dry and comfortable.
What does 'Natural Stretch' mean?
Fabric is engineered to provide natural stretch, flexibility and comfort.
What does 'Soil Release' mean?
Garments with a soil release finish provide for easy care with recommended soil treatment. The release allows stains to be removed more easily during laundering.
What does Teflon® fabric protection mean?
Teflon® and Scotchgard™ - Special fabric protection impedes water and stains from penetrating the garment for a period of time.
What does Tuff-Pil® Plus mean?
Tuff-Pil® Plus High Tech Acrylic fibers used for uniform ready sweater apparel offer low-pil performance, colorfast and durability. The garment is designed to last 30-50 home wash cycles.
What does 'UV Pro' mean?
UV protected means more fun, less sun. The dry-mesh fabrics block harmful UV rays with up to a UPF 50 factor.
What does 'Home Launder/Machine Washable' mean?
Home Launder / Machine Washable is a product designed to be washed in small-batch, mild temperatures conditions typical of home machine washers. The garment is designed to last 30-50 wash cycles or more. Dry Clean refers to products that are recommended to be professionally dry cleaned with very limited exposure to humidity. The garment is designed to last 30-50 dry clean cycles.
Why is there a BPS warning on the Flex Chino Shorts/Pants (2483/8483/2583/8583)?
The BPS warning label has been added to these products due to a specific chemical used in the black fabric. This label ensures compliance with California’s Proposition 65 regulations, which require warnings on products that may contain chemicals known to the state of California to cause health concerns. This does not indicate a violation but is a compliance measure for transparency.
